More than ever our children need a strong moral compass to think critically and resolve to stand for what is good and right. At Laurel Hall School we take pride in a community that embraces all faiths and traditions. Our religious program is designed to prepare our children to meet the challenges of the world with faith and compassion. In this spirit of inclusion, our school plays a pivotal role in fostering a happy, productive church-school-community relationship.
Laurel Hall School began in 1947 as a mission of Emmanuel Lutheran Church of North Hollywood. Christian education at Laurel Hall takes place in an atmosphere where parents, teachers and students relate to each other in forgiveness and love. For more than a half-century we have prepared young people for higher learning and lives of purpose and service.
Our Emmanuel Lutheran Church School Family includes the Early Childhood Center (ECC), where we welcome children from 2-5 years of age. The ECC curriculum provides a sound beginning for a successful transition to elementary school. Laurel Hall School continues from Jr. kindergarten through middle school offering an outstanding education that balances academics, the arts, service learning and athletics.
Tradition and progress are the keys to Laurel Hall’s long history and success. Our exceptional faculty looks to educate the whole child: mind, body and spirit. We provide the foundation for every graduate to move into the world a smarter, stronger, more caring citizen.
We look forward to sharing our family with yours.
