Recently we had a bridging event for the incoming 4th, 5th and 6th graders at Mountasia in Santa Clarita. The incoming kids had tons of fun and can’t wait to start the new year off at church.  We also had one for the upcoming 7th and 8th graders at the Burbank Mall. We had a mall scavenger hunt and the two incoming kids that went had so much fun. One kid told her mom about ten times that she really liked it. There are pictures from the Junior High Event  below.

Here are pictures from our Junior High Bridging Event hosted by the incoming freshmen. The incoming 7th graders had so much fun!

UPCOMING EVENTS for June and July

There are many things coming up we have a surprise bridging event for the incoming freshmen  and all the other Senior High Kids.

Friday, June 24th is Youth Night from 7-9 pm, lead by Star Mc Cain.

On Friday July 1st from 6:30 pm to 8:15 pm we will have a youth lead service, called P3. Join us for Pasta, Praise and Prayer at the church.

July 7th is the kick off date for Vacation Bible School, it starts at 7pm. It has been planned by many of our youth and church member who are involved with the youth.

July 8th is Youth Night, led by Courtney and John Henry.

July 22nd we have P3 starting at 6:30 pm and ending at 8:15pm

Bridging Event is on Saturday, July 23rd from 9am - 5pm, This is hosted by the Senior High kids of last year.

The Youth Task Force Committee continues to work on the job description for a "Director of Youth & Family Ministry." Please keep them in your prayers. The team members include: Mary Bassler (chair); Beef Evans; Teena Frazier; Karen Josephson; Gerry Koch; Brannon & Star McCain; Pastor Schoenrock (advisor). 

Karen, John Henry and Courtney are picking out the new colors for the youth room.
