We still have limited openings in Junior Kinder – 5^th grade & 8^th Grade

If you are interested in LHS, for any open grade level, come by the school office and we will give you an information packet. If you feel Laurel Hall is a good fit for your family, submit your application with a non-refundable application fee of $250 and we will contact you regarding testing for your student.

All applicants are considered on a first come-first served basis.

2010-2011 Admissions
Our official Campus Tours are over. We may schedule a late spring tour if we have enough interest. At this time, you can call the admissions office and arrange to stop by for an information packet.

At this time, all applications are being accepted on a Wait List basis only. There are some grade levels with a few seats left and there are other grade levels that are full. Spaces can open at any time as families make their final placement decisions. Applications are considered in order received.

If you are hoping to join the Laurel Hall School Community, please leave your Wait List application and a check for $300. This payment will be held (not processed) with your application until a space is available for your student and you choose to go forward with the application process. Any 5th – 8th grade applicant must register & take the ISEE as their entrance exam. Go to the Admissions Info link for details.

You will be given our brochure, plus all information about testing and the enrollment process.

Please note that we are a fully immunized school.
We do not offer a scholarship program.

2010-2011 Kindergarten applicants must be 5 yrs by September 15, 2010
*Jr. K is for students who turn 5 between September 16, 2010 & March 15, 2011

Laurel Hall Admission Process

To become active in the Laurel Hall admissions process you will need to:

• Submit application with the $250 non-refundable application/$50 assessment fee.
• Submit a copy of birth certificate (Jrk, Kinder & 1^st grade applicants only)
• Submit all supporting documentation listed below.
• Attend Student Assessments*
• Interviews may be required and are by invitation only

At this time we will give all students assessment exams onsite by appointment.

*In order to gain a better understanding of a child's individual growth and development, we utilize the Gesell Developmental Readiness Assessment that supports the ages and stages of young children, thus allowing us to place them appropriately in our Junior Kindergarten/ Kindergarten  or 1^st grade program.

The 5 yr. birth date cut off for Kindergarten is September 15^th, 2010. Children whose 5^th birthdays are between Sept 16^th, 2010 & March 15^th, 2011 will be assessed and eligible for our Junior Kindergarten program.

Supporting Documentation:

• A copy of your child’s birth certificate (if not submitted with application)
• Copy of current Semester Report Card (applicants for 1^st Grade & up)
• Last years Final Report Card (applicants for 1^st Grade & up)
• Teacher Recommendation and *Administration Recommendation
  (*if you are coming from a private school)
• Copy of (1) of the most recent standardized testing scores as listed:            
  ERB, STAR, CAT-6, IOWA, SAT(Stanford Achievement Test)
• ISEE scores (scores within last 6 months accepted) 5-8 applicants only
