EDP

Extended Day Care Program (EDP)

Laurel Hall provides a structured Extended Day Care Program for school families requiring day care before and after school for an additional fee. Extended Day Care is available before school from 6:45 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and after school from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, and 3:10 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday for grades K-8th.

Activities

Students are encouraged to participate in supervised age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.

Outdoor Activities

Counselors conduct organized sports and outdoor games.

Homework

A staff supervised homework room is available to students in grades 2nd-8th Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

Staff

The EDP staff are carefully chosen counselors sensitive to the needs of the individual student.

Optional Enrichment Programs

The Optional Enrichment Programs offers students the chance to participate in after school activities other than Day Care. Enrichment Programs may include:

Pre-Sports Basketball (K-4)
Video Animations
Cartooning
Computer Class
Tae Kwon Do
American Girls Club
"Come Alive" Drama

The Extended Day Care program runs the full school year and is open five days a week from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Laurel Hall School Committee sets the calendar each year and generally includes the following holidays:
